      Even with the appropriate amount of money, or far more than needed, if it isn't correctly allocated, you're going nowhere fast. I'm not opposed to the government owning & operating its own Heavy...

      Even with the appropriate amount of money, or far more than needed, if it isn't correctly allocated, you're going nowhere fast. I'm not opposed to the government owning & operating its own Heavy Lift rocket, but SLS is clearly not the right solution, nor the right architecture.

    There's not really any need for us to go back to the Moon. I mean sure there can always be more research done, but there's far more pressing and interesting scientific questions to answer...

      I think a case could be made for the moon as Step 1 in a multi-step plan for colonizing other worlds. There's value in establishing a small-scale proof of concept on the closest extraterrestrial...

There's value in establishing a small-scale proof of concept on the closest extraterrestrial object before scaling up for a bigger journey. Without that large plan though, it's kinda pointless.

      Or else Mike Pence will realize that he isn't living in the 1960s anymore. In all honesty, the author seems to be implying that NASA will lose more of their budgets if they don't prioritize a moon...
