Truly, this seems to be a charlie foxtrot in the making. I would very much like to know if the drone in question was in Iranian airspace vs international, or if perhaps there is a disagreement as to where the border between them might lie.
Just something that jumped out at me:
Iran's defense minister, Brig. Gen. Amir Hatami, said the incident showed that "the enemies of Iran are incapable of taking any military action," the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported Tuesday.
I feel like the current US admin is very capable of being taunted into a course of action, so this seems like a dangerous comment to make.
