I know the perps claimed that the victim looked like someone suspected of being involved with some unnamed earlier break-ins, but shooting a person because they look like someone who hasn't actually been convicted of doing anything wrong is insane. The fact that the police repeated that statement to the victim's family shows their own prejudices. I can only hope the grand jury will be more level-headed, but having lived in Georgia and having had jury duty there, I'd say that's unlikely.
