Just a heads up - I'm not an American. I'm actually British (well, British Pakistani at that) so I'm not exactly well versed in US politics. In fact, due to times being bleak, I've been shying away from politics for the most part.

I feel like it was a good speech. It effectively captured the mood and the issues surrounding the US presidency. When he was criticising Trump for self serving and stating his goal is to focus on Americans, I felt pretty down as that really should not be stated, but here we are. At the start he mentioned that the US presidency should focus on everyone, and he specifically called out supporting donors. I feel that is a positive step towards making the boundaries clear.

I am aware that Joe Biden is problematic, but at the same time I can't think of anyone more problematic than Donald Trump. I really do wish that come the US election time (whenever that is this year), the US people go out and vote, and vote for Joe Biden.
