Breonna Taylor case: Kentucky attorney general asks for patience as police killing probe continues
I'm not really sure how much more patience should be expected. It's been three months since the actual incident. It's just mind boggling watching some of these events unfold. Like last week, the police report on this particular incident lists Ms. Taylor injuries as "none".
Here's a bunch of protest related ones from AP:

The NCAA's Southeastern Conference commissioner warned that Mississippi could lose SEC championship games if it doesn't alter the state flag.
I don't understand how this doesn't also apply to Georgia's flag.
Probably because, at least according to Wikipedia, Georgia's flag hasn't featured a confederate flag element in it since 2003: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Georgia_(U.S._state)

Confederacy - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flags_of_the_Confederate_States_of_America
Am not American... so I didn't realize the three strips was associated with the Confederacy. Does that flag hold as much historical baggage as the "battle flag" (which most people seem to be more familiar with) though? The reason I ask is because most of the efforts I have seen by protestors and advocacy groups to remove the "confederate flag" in the US as of late are almost exclusively focused on that more familiar "battle flag".
Definitely, the average person probably isn't aware and thus it has less baggage. For it to be so direct of a copy like this, though, continues to astound me.
Calls To Make Juneteenth A Federal Holiday Gain Momentum
Personal anecdote: there have been fireworks fairly regularly around the area for the past few weeks. Tonight (Juneteenth) I think they're even more widespread. I live in a pretty quiet suburb, so this level of activity seems notable.
