Sincerely hope with all the effort and work I see being put into the SDNY that we start seeing some major changes and reforms to punishments for those in the political sphere. I'm hoping that with a change of administration that there is full enforcement on those responsible for creating so much havoc in our country. There needs to be consequences for these laws being broken, and there needs to be reforms to make the "norms" actual laws with teeth. SDNY seems to be leading the charge on this, but I would love to see a Biden administration have an AG that goes hard on the multitude of grifters, con artists, and criminals that have plagued us these last 4 years.
The trial date has been set for May 24 next year, so we probably won't hear much more about this for almost a year (or potentially even longer, since coronavirus is still causing a lot of delays).

I'd love to know how the SDNY managed to get the required evidence against Bannon. He's many things, a racist amoral piece of bigoted trash for starters, but he's not a complete idiot.

There are three others named in the paperwork, one of them being some random guy who started the GoFundMe that this is all about. If Bannon himself didn't slip up, likely one of them did.

I don't know, I think Bannon was desperate to be relevant again, and to do that he had to take on risk and less than competent partners.
