There doesn't seem to be much evidence of this movement affecting anything, but hey, Democrats are polling well for the race (the few highly rated polls out are +1-3 for Warnock and Ossof) and the dynamics of the runoff are way different than what happened in 2008.

Well, this is a local senate runoff - the vast majority of people cannot vote this time. However, for the rest of the English speaking world, if you were wonder if it would be worth it to donate time or money to Ossof or Warnock's campaign in Georgia, the answer is: yes. Because unlike in 2008, it's not a waste of money, and by all indications, like the polling, both candidates look like they have a real shot.

I think that's why the fact that they're doing well in the polling is important to note. People remember 2008, the last time this situation in Georgia happened, and the utter disaster that was.

If you care about democracy and can’t vote in the runoffs please donate to support the Democrats.
