Even if they don't arrest him on the spot, violation of the order would carry further consequences later. This looks like building up reasons to charge him with further, more serious offences. Note that the reason he was taken in this time was in regards to a simple property damage charge. However, if he violates this order that's a more serious issue, leading to more serious response. This looks like preparation to imprison the head of the Proud Boys, though I don't know enough of their internal organization to say how important he is as an organizing figure.

Without having done any research whatsoever, I had assumed that the Proud Boys had about as much organization/leadership as any internet-era movement such as the Boogaloo Boys. Which is to say, none, and everyone.

Now someone's going to tell me the Boogaloo Boys also have a leader, and an office somewhere, or something

Standard ethnonationalist playbook: propagate your race through focusing all sexual urges towards procreation. Also, redirecting all pleasurable individual activity into realms the group can control.

Soy, I guess in large quantities can block some T production? I don’t know if there’s any legitimate veracity to that but it’s like their mantra to avoid anything that interferes with T levels.

It’s insidious how they’ve tied masculinity to this cause.

No, it's complete bro-science trash. It originally comes from one study on the affects of phyto-estrogens in clover on sheep. The connection to soy (that it has some similar phyto-estrogens) is strained at best. If you are at all concerned about consuming hormones, animal hormones and in particular mammal hormones, are likely to be the most compatible and thus most destructive to humans, for obvious reasons. The real reason you see this so much is that vegetarianism/veganism are seen as being feminine-coded and are a sign that you are a bleeding heart, must make men weak and "girly," right? Well I'm on perhaps the most soy-boy diet of all, Whole Food Plant-Based (vegan with no added oil, sugar, or any non-whole-grains) and, although I haven't had it tested, it's very clear that my testosterone is much higher than it's ever been, gaining muscle faster, body and facial hair darkened and thickened rapidly, all this in less than 2 years and I'm coming up on 40.

A 30-minute comedic but well sourced video about the full history of the soyboys trend and the "science" it is based on, and also why its all bullshit

Edit: Just because I hate this fucking soy talking point so much I'm just going to also directly link to a metastudy of the effect of soy intake on men and quote the conclusion to make it super clear that anyone making this talking point is wrong. They might not be malicious, but they are definitively wrong:

                    SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Isoflavones are diphenolic molecules that have a chemical structuresimilar to estrogen and exert estrogen-like effects in some tissues un-der certain conditions. Consequently, concern has been raised that isoflavones have feminizing effects in men and adversely affectmale reproductive health. Findings that support this concern include those from a pilot epidemiologic study that linked soy intake with lower sperm concentration among infertile men(10), a case report linking excessive isoflavone intake with raised estrogen levels andgynecomastia(8), limited clinical research showing soy intake lowers blood T levels(88, 107), and rodent research suggesting isoflavone (daidzein) exposure can lead to ED(97, 121, 123, 133). However, the clinical evidence overwhelmingly indicates that there is essentially no basis for concern. Isoflavone exposure at levels even greatly exceeding reasonable dietary intakes does not affect blood T or estrogen levels in men or sperm and semen parameters. The ED-related findings in rats can be attributed to excessive isoflavone exposure and to differences in isoflavone metabolism between rodents and humans. Thus, men can feel confident that making soy a part of their diet will not compromise their virility or reproductive health.
