    This format is perfect, the (thorough) answer to everyone's question ("Then what makes it smell?") is front loaded, explanation and all.

    I wish every science-related video was like this. A lot of them will ask the question, then spend 30 minutes answering why it's not this answer or that answer before they finally just fucking tell you.

    Big ups to NileRed for being dope at what they do.

      I think a large part of the reason he does that is because he knows a lot of people won't be willing to sit through a 30min, highly technical chemistry experiment/tutorial to find out the answer....
