I like Hosselfelder's no-nonsense approach. The first thing I'd seen of hers was her video on the progress of nuclear fusion that laid out what applicable progress looks like (some simple stuff like gross power generation vs net power generation of the entire facility, and why things are repeated the way they are). I like that she sort of sucks the fun out of things and points at the reality of what's going on. It's almost sensationalist de-sensationalizing.

The comments were interesting and quite a few show a concern with her approach: She's an expert, and we aren't. We can't use her opinion as information, such as this case, but her qualified insight is still enlightening.
