      We watch the sun to get a better understanding of its mechanics, events that progress, and for predicting solar storm activities. The sun is the source of all life and the very foundations of our solar system - no sun, no solar system. The better we understand by keeping an eye on it the more we understand about our immediate (and non-immediate) cosmos.
