    Maybe it's not kosher to blatantly steal from what's currently on reddit, but since I believe someare not using reddit anymore, I wanted to share this video I thought was cool.

    I'm a relative astronomy-noob, so this was a really impressive perspective to me. Some pointed out that it is just a size reference and doesn't take into account the various other changes this would have on earth: gravity, brightness, etc.

    Also in the comments was this video whichis the best explanation I've seen for why Pluto isn't a planet anymore. He even anthropomorphizes Pluto a little so everyone is happy.

    here is another neat site that shows the solar system to scale. and one from nasa that will tell you when you can see the space station from your own backyard.
