This is the biggest stretch of “DEI” I’ve seen yet. Pretty clear DEI is just whatever Trump doesn’t like.
If it in any way helps non WASPs it's DEI.
It baffles me that the words “promise to dismantle radical… diversity, equity, and inclusion programs” can be said with a straight face like that’s some kind of a good thing. If DEI stood for “decency, empathy, and integrity” these goons would still be trying to portray it as an affront.
Sometimes with these types of things I ask myself, if being black or a woman is now apparently pandering to DEI (which is somehow bad) are they going to undo and stop all usage of HeLA cells ? Which are both black and female.
This would literally upend all cancer research, alone, not even considering the impact across the entire field of biology.
But I guess that’s the kind of thought an egghead scientist would have and not a strong leader type man…
There's nothing more part of the white supremacist patriarchy than forcing black people and women to labor without consent or compensation.
By which I mean, even if they had some consistency, they'd think it was fine, and probably would start taking more cells.
This is just a petrochem bailout. Which is par for the course honestly. DEI is just the newest iteration of frivolous reasoning to throw out a case of (petro)chem induced cancer. If Trump were to be in power during East-Palestine we would've seen the same thing. No need to worry though, the republican party managed to use that disaster for political clout in another way.
The doublethink involved is insane.
