No power, on this world or otherwise, would be able to keep Trump's mouth shut if he had contacted or was informed of extraterrestrials, especially if there was a joint base on Mars. It would have come up as a hypothetical during one of his rallies, Twitter rambles, or Fox and Friends call-ins.

What sort of fucked up Alien civilization would create a replicant like Trump? Either their tech is stuck in the uncanny valley, or they have a very unusual sense of humor.

I want this to be true so badly it hurts. It basically implies FTL travel or communication is possible. How else could a single entity called the “Galactic Federation” span more than a single star system?

TBH, I gotta give it to 'em, "Former Israeli space security chief" gives this guy more qualification to make such a theory than the vast, vast majority of conspiracy theorists.
An easy objection: if such a powerful alien organization exists and wishes to remain secret, how is he alive? How can his book be published?
If the Federation was smart, they will know something like this will ruin his reputation and not only make his claims not be taken seriously, but will also stigmatize the subject further and make future claims also not taken seriously. It's actually in their interest that this go to press. Checkmate!

Despite the similarities to the Stargate program, the US government and US Air Force decided to let the show go on to act as a sort of a “plausible deniability” for any leaks about the actual Stargate program. If someone started blabbing about the actual Stargate, the Air Force/US govt could just call them crazy and inspired by the tv show

I genuinely wish it would get a remaster since most of SG-1 was released when 480p/720p was standard so it looks pretty rough on standard HD TVs now.
But in terms of the quality of the show itself, it’s really very good, IMO.
