That first crash was wild. Glad that everyone involved appeared to be without any serious injury. I think everyone was a bit concerned to see Castroneves limping once he was out of his car....

However, I didn't watch much beyond Lap 35 or so. International (pirated) streams kept crapping out and I pretty much refuse to watch NBC's commercial-laden broadcast. Coming from F1 (and F1TV), I cannot deal with it. It annoys me far too much. Which is too bad, because IndyCar is excellent. Instead of seeing Verstappen leading with a 38sec gap to the next team (and 12sec to his teammate in P2), IndyCar actually has close battles!

Anyway, back to IndyCar...Based on results: Pato P2 is great (though it sounds like he could've had P1 had it not been for engine trouble). Armstrong had a good rookie showing at P11. But Herta falling all the way down to 20...Yikes. Though it appears he had contact with Powers.

Onto Long Beach. Well, technically Texas, though I don't always watch ovals. Regardless, how is it a month til the next race? =/
