Yeah, agreed, this one was great. What an interesting setting. I have to question the placement of that one mattress though Very convenient.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Someone in the comments mentioned it might have been the safety team that prepped the area beforehand and put it there, but I doubt it. Because even as crazy as they all sometimes are, I still don't think even with a mattress already there that any of them would do a jump like that without planning, testing, and practicing it first, since the risk of serious injury is way too high. So they probably just caught Benj really easily at the very end, with him trapped on the roof and surrounded, and rather than end on a low they wanted to spice it up with a more dramatic finish. That would be my guess as to why they added that last clearly scripted bit. Still a bit disappointing they would do that though, since it calls into question the genuineness of the rest of the hide & seek videos. :(
Oh I think it was definitely prepped by the safety team, and the fact that nobody else wanted to take the jump I think shows that Benj prepped it. But it's conceivable that he prepped it earlier in the day, and went to a place where he knew that he could pull off a crazy escape.
I'm hoping that there'll be an extra or something that shows them prepping that jump at a different time in the day, because I think they usually do a bit of scouting around before they get right into the chase.
