My introduction to chessboxing, I think it's an engaging enough example to introduce the sport to you all with as well

Chessboxing consists of 3 minute bouts of chess, boxing, chess, boxing, repeat, until there is a knockout or the chess game is won. Once the game begins, there's a legitimate strategy and urgency in the first bout of chess, and regardless of your skill level in chess, by the third round the fighters will be making moves with less long-term strategy and more circumstantial play, due to the disorientation that comes from the second round's opening boxing. I personally find this to be one of the most entertaining sports, at least due to the absurdist comedy coming from how seriously the concept of the game is taken, but there's also great talent both on the board and in the ring. Should you be interested in the sport as well, the host channel of the video has many other enjoyable matches, but this is my personal favorite.
