    Maybe the production itself is performative art? I think this is a pretty good representation of indigenous/colonizer relations.

    “I gave Robert Lapage (sic) tons of advice, he obviously took none of it,” Blackfoot filmmaker Cowboy Smithx (pronounced Smith) wrote on Twitter Monday. “I don’t appreciate being name-dropped.” He added that Lepage “seems set in his ways” and Smithx has “lost interest in his work.”

      Sad, but true. The section you quoted is actually the one that stood out most to me too. Especially the name-dropped part. Honestly what's the point of consultations if there's no follow through?
