I just experienced something with my first born son that has blown me away

I'll try to explain the best I can here.

I thought that he was asleep in bed. I went out to go to the bathroom and found him curled up on a chair in the living room. He looked distraught and said he needed to talk to me. I asked him to come into the kitchen to speak.

Long story short, he described experiencing encounters with two humanoids. One was an adult and the other a child. He was shaken up and tearing up about these.

I reminded him of my story and added a few things that aren't written there. He started to relinquish a little after that. However, he still seemed troubled so I pressed further.

I said, something to the effect, "this 'higher power' reached through time/space to keep me alive and you are worried about these humanoids? Nothing is more powerful than the love of this 'higher power' and the will of your parents."

He cried tears of joy (said that he was touched), relented, and went to bed.

Powerful parental/universe experience. I'm blown.

Kudos to you to handling it head-on. The worst thing, that I suspect is common, is blowing it off as "mere imagination" and saying it's not real and to go back to bed. I think this way you gave...

I think this way you gave him something to work with for any future experiences he may have and gave him encouragement to think more deeply.

Wait... do you actually think your first born son did see two "humanoids"? What did they look like? Is it significant that he is your first born?

No. Possibly. He described them as a grey human form, with no other features, just standing in front of him in our front yard.
