    The "surprising number" is less than 3%. I frankly expected much higher (so, okay, I was surprised), and for well over a decade, I've pretty much assumed this behaviour ... basically since I quit...

    How many websites? I hate clickbait titles (that aren't even the same title as the one of the article itself).

      Between 2k-10k, depending on which of their categories you look at. I can't decide if that feels like a lot. Counting the "top" 100k websites feels like it probably includes many, many sites that...

      Between 2k-10k, depending on which of their categories you look at. I can't decide if that feels like a lot. Counting the "top" 100k websites feels like it probably includes many, many sites that that vast majority of people have never heard of. I'd be more interested to see what percentage of the top 100 or 500 websites have these leaky forms.
