Emotionally I really dislike these companies and what they're doing. It's frustrating to hear them talk about how much they love regulation and working with the city when they completely ignore both. A company working in good faith would have partnered with the city first and worked out a very basic regulatory framework before throwing themselves on the streets. My question is should these companies be punished for their irresponsible behavior and disregard for the law?

These just showed up in my city, and I think they make the place look trashy. People just leave them in the middle of the sidewalk and zoom around without helmets. Maybe I'm a curmudgeon, but without specific parking locations it's really just adding to the clutter of downtown. And I don't even know how they plan to make a profit
