My understanding is the monopolization charge against Tesla is due to their proprietary superchargers that only work for Tesla vehicles. That is a broader issue with the BEV industry right now...
My understanding is the monopolization charge against Tesla is due to their proprietary superchargers that only work for Tesla vehicles.
That is a broader issue with the BEV industry right now that you have to have several different cords/chargers/cards to connect to all the different public charging stations.
It is a real shame that there is no universal charging protocol / standardization for BEV charging.
Electric vehicles will reduce demand for oil. Those sitting on an ocean of oil would buy into the technology to do what? Reduce the demand for their oil?

If they wanted a monopoly on electric cars they wouldn't have open sourced a lot of their patents.
