I wanted to share this because I did not expect this to come from Unity Technologies of all places. Unity has been pushing AI/Machine Learning empowered systems for a short while now, but their interest in AI never seemed to go beyond assisting development in their engine. And while the post still clearly indicates that their guidelines are aimed mostly at their users, some of the principles outlined are far more general in nature.

    Also this bullet point:

    Be Fair.
Do not knowingly develop AI tools and experiences that interfere with normal, functioning democratic systems of government.
This means saying no to product development aimed at the suppression of human rights, as defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, such as the right to free expression.

Somewhat reminds me of Apple's famous EULA clause prohibiting the use of it's products in the development of nuclear weapons, with the difference of course being that these guidelines aren't meant to be contractually binding.
