Roger McNamee has a really long history in SV, and was an early mentor/insider/investor at FB. He just released a book named “Zucked: Waking Up to the Facebook Catastrophe.”
In part two he goes beyond FB and talks about the issues of privacy at other companies like Google, Amazon, antitrust, and lots of great stuff.
I have not read the book, but I plan to. My take is that in this interview he takes a dim view on the “we are platforms, with no culpability” defense, and the entire “move fast and break things”...

He was personally close to major decisionmakers at FB and still speaks well of them, but finds their behavior abhorrent.
