Guy creates a banana that reads Twitch comments. Gets banned + perma strike when people make it say bad words.

    So this is pretty interesting. It's a bummer the guy gets a perma strike from Twitch and I hope they have a human that can look and walk it back.

    The analysis he does of what it takes to block audio from saying bad words reminds me of auto-mod rules. There's some pretty cool lessons in it.

    Also - humans are funny things. Get a group together with a single objective and we're good at solving puzzles, whether it's landing people on the moon or making a talking banana say curse words.

      It’s pretty fascinating how it became an arms race and the trolls were essentially doing amazing QA work through brute force... just a shame they chose to do so in a way that got his channel a strike.

      His filter could definitely come in handy though, especially considering how many major streamers use voice-to-text to read donations messages on Twitch. He should sell it as a service there to fund continued development.
