    The linked announcement post has some links but they seem to be behind an internal login. Info is scarce, but I assume this will mean alternatives to products like Office or Windows? Maybe...

    Info is scarce, but I assume this will mean alternatives to products like Office or Windows? Maybe ambitious improvements to Scientific Linux and LibreOffice? Or projects from scratch?

    I'm actually not sure what Microsoft products CERN does use. All of the machines there run scientific Linux and almost all researchers are using macbooks. The only thing I can think of is Outlook...

    I'm actually not sure what Microsoft products CERN does use. All of the machines there run scientific Linux and almost all researchers are using macbooks. The only thing I can think of is Outlook mail servers and possibly Active Directory, if they haven't migrated away from it by now.
