    On the one hand, US defend-or-lose IP laws are dumb as hell and at least partially motivating this, on the other hand this also smells like Apple pursuing security through ignorance.

      What I find very confusing is that I don't think their profit model is "security research" at all. I heard about this company months ago, and back then—and even now—their website ostensibly...

      What I find very confusing is that I don't think their profit model is "security research" at all. I heard about this company months ago, and back then—and even now—their website ostensibly advocates their tool as a kind of write-once-test-anywhere mobile device simulator for development of iOS applications.

      I'm not sure why Bloomberg's article (which this article is based off) decided to lead with the security-approach because that just isn't right at all.
