That’s one of the main reasons I refuse to switch over to Microsoft 365 or whatever their new monthly service is. I may not have all the bells and whistles of the latest version, but office 2013 does everything I need it to do. My computer was top of the line back when I bought it and aside from a new graphics card and new power supply, it still runs great. If I had opted for the SaaS version of office, I would have paid double or triple by now what I originally paid. Sometimes I wish I had a newer version of SolidWorks so I could use models I find online, but when push comes to shove I can always ask someone else to convert it to a different format like .stp for me to import on my older version.
Wow. The no refunds part is understandable from a legal perspective. But they could have easily said, “here’s a prorated refund” since they’re giving users access until the end of the month, they...
Wow. The no refunds part is understandable from a legal perspective. But they could have easily said, “here’s a prorated refund” since they’re giving users access until the end of the month, they can obviously do business until then.
It kind of comes off as an asshole cash grab on their part.
