Apps that access Google G Suite services using a username and password (as opposed to OAuth) will be restricted in June 2020, and blocked in February 2021

      If I'm reading this correctly, it shouldn't... unless you're using a 3rd party Gmail app that is accessing your G Suite account using something other than OAuth.

          Gmail is one of the G Suite services, yes, but if you're a free Gmail user who typically just logs in to google.com/gmail/ to access your email then this should not effect you in any way. However,...

          Gmail is one of the G Suite services, yes, but if you're a free Gmail user who typically just logs in to google.com/gmail/ to access your email then this should not effect you in any way. However, if you use an email client, this may effect you, but only if your email client doesn't support/use OAuth. AFAIK Outlook, Apple Mail, and Thunderbird already support OAuth though, so they should be fine. It's only 3rd party apps that do not have OAuth support that should be effected.
