Seems a bit overkill to fix a green tint to a webcam image, certainly as I imagine that their 11 years old PC won't like having to run OBS and doing processing.

And even though you probably won't be using OBS to livestream to Twitch.tv or YouTube, like it's generally intended for, it can still be used to modify your webcam feed to other software using a virtualization plugin:
        https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-virtualcam.539/

Not going to lie though, OBS can be a massive PITA to get set up and functioning correctly even under ideal conditions, but to further complicate things for you, since you're still on Win 7 you may have to find & download an old version of OBS that will actually work with it, since AFAIK the current version only works with Win 8, 8.1 or 10.

So given all that, I would honestly recommend simply returning that webcam (which might just be defective anyways, by the sounds of it) and buying another that doesn't have the same issue.

Naw, I saw that one, but just because you didn't buy it there doesn't change the fact they are an aliexpress fly-by-night company.

You usually should be able to download and install drivers outside whatever Windows-procedure that gives you "driver software is up to date" messages. Google for the exact model name + driver + Windows 7.

But maybe they don't have drivers for Windows 7 anymore? I just checked and Windows 7 doesn't even get security updates now. It's coming to a point where you have to decided between switching to Linux/Mac or going Windows 10. With some settings tweaked, Windows 10 is okay, you can turn off most of the bullshit and at least the UI is tameable.

Other than that, there should be software you can switch between the cam's input and wherever you want to stream it to do things like reducing the G in RGB.

I already tried looking for 3rd party drivers and AFAIK there are none, since the company that made the webcam has no official site and is a Chinese aliexpress based fly-by-night. But TBH even if their was 3rd party drivers from them, there is no way I would ever recommend installing them... especially on an outdated, no longer supported (and thus incredibly vulnerable to malware) OS like Windows 7.

Frankly, since you are on windows 7 you probably are on the most recent drivers available. Nobody is making newer drivers and frankly if you are going on the internet with this PC you are taking a risk as no security updates are made publicly available for windows 7 anymore.

If you can I would upgrade to windows 10, even though many people hate on it you can turn of most privacy related things. If windows 10 is not an option then I'd consider using a linux flavor if that is possible with the software you want to use.

Eh, that is just something I decided to include it, in the end it is your own security you are risking mostly so your choice (though not entirely). The main thing is still true though, due to your choice of using the OS you are using means it isn't very likely that there are newer drivers. It is however much more likely that there are newer drivers for windows 10 or for linux (or at least the ability to somewhat easily adjust colors).

Can't say for certain of course, if you are set on using this OS you it might just be the most probably solution. I mean, it might just be a defective unit so changing OS might not solve the issue either. I am guessing you don't have a different computer you can try the webcam on?

As a possible other solution, do you happen to have an android phone on hand? With an app like this you could turn that into a functional webcam with the partner application on your pc. Some limitations apply but I have used this method in the past when I didn't have a webcam available.

            edit:

For the phone approach, there are also other applications available. I just don't have experience with those see this article for example

It's what I've been doing since I realised near the start of lockdown that my phone's front camera is dramatically better than any of my other devices, and it's been working well for me. The only real downside is that tile view is limited by the screen size, so I have to use active speaker view for calls with 5+ people.
