Twitter about to be hit with a ~$250 million fine for using your two factor authentication phone numbers/emails for marketing

    While I'm glad they're getting hit in the pocketbook, I really wish it was a bigger fine. As it is, it's just a cost of doing business so they can keep doing it by just paying the fee.

      Especially if the profit they get from doing it exceeds the expense of the fine. I suppose the optics damage is an additional cost, too, though.
