This is one cherry-picked example, so, of course, take it with a grain of salt and wait for full benchmark suites. Still, very interesting to see.

I'm happy with how Doom: Eternal looks @4K on my ET430K on Nightmare settings on a 1070, but this is incredible. It's going to be hard to talk myself out of upgrading to at least a 3070.

Playing Horizon Zero Dawn recently is the first time that I've wanted to put the graphics higher but couldn't because my 1070Ti couldn't handle it. Good to see performance still improving and price points coming down at a reasonable timeline after that crypto-farming stupidity a few years ago. Definitely time to upgrade once this 3000 series drops.

I was looking at comparisons online and I think I may be the only person on the face of this earth that can’t tell a difference.

It shows the performance difference right there in the video. 45-50% over a 2080 Ti.

        I mean in the videos / screenshots. I can’t see a difference.

Did you watch them in 4K on a 4K-capable screen? I think's mostly about the frame rate still, though. I played Doom Eternal on a Vega 56, which is far less capable than this card. It certainly...

I played Doom Eternal on a Vega 56, which is far less capable than this card. It certainly wasn't as pretty, but game experience-wise, I'm not sure I missed a lot. But I know gamers who say things like "anything lower than 140Hz looks jittery". This is probably for them.

Youtube videos are only 30 or 60 FPS, and both cards run the game over 60 throughout the entire run.

You need to look at the performance metrics in the corner, which show the 3080 running 45-50% faster than the 2080 Ti.

I know this is off topic, but I'm so tired of hearing about Doom Eternal because every time I hear the title I think of this.
