    I wonder what the typical adoption time for new releases of Android are. I've never seen any numbers beyond "x percentage are running the newest version". Like how long after the release do new...

    Google says select OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo and Realme devices will also be updated soon.

      I think the numbers are generally pretty poor. I don't remember exactly, but I remember reading that it's usually single digit percentages of Android phones running the latest OS for some months...

      Google used to publish those numbers monthly for years. But as you can guess, the adoption numbers for new versions were piss poor, and those graphs were a staple at Apple events to mock Android....

      So Google took the path of least resistance, and stopped publishing.
