When I was little, I loved airplanes and trains. Like, I was obsessed with them. One time, we went to an air show and the Blue Angles were there performing. Somehow, my dad managed to get me backstage to meet one of them.
Obviously, I was super excited and peppered him with tons of questions. The one I remember is that when I asked him which airplane they liked flying the most, he didn't even hesitate and immediately responded with, "The A-10 Warthog. That thing's built like a tank."
It can also take an absolute beating and still keep flying, unlike a lot of modern fighters.
