Even if one were to look past Brave's past shady actions and the "character" of their CEO, Brave's involvement with cryptocurrency is an automatic "no" in my personal opinion. The cryptocurrency community is so shady (not to mention the wasted energy of the tech itself) that I no longer trust anybody who publicly associates with it with very little, if any, exceptions.
I wish them the best on what they're doing, but I don't see myself using or recommending it in the near future.
