Is this StumbledUpon? Or a modern equivalent of it?

There was a brief period of time, pre-reddit and perhaps alongside the heyday of Digg, when StumbleUpon was a place many people landed as a way to discover new content across the exponentially expanding internet of ~2010.

Since reddit and social media took over, I've found myself thinking back to the magic of what StumbleUpon was: like flipping through the TV channels of the internet. Especially if you didn't make an account and set preferences, you just got whatever came up. Aggregators always seem to default to the same general collections of sites and sources and there's never really space for individual creations and experiments.

This site was my second result using this. I'm already saving it for later because it just seems interesting, and I know I would have never found it otherwise. Maybe it'll be good, maybe I won't like it. I'd like to find out without having a comment section that I can't resist clicking on to subconsciously second guess myself before I even try it.

Is a modern alternative, and it looks like is managed by a single person instead of a company.

Woo-hoo! Yeah, that sure looks like a StumbleUpon 2.0. I miss that site ... the way it was 10-15 years ago. Looks like it only really died a couple years ago, but I remember looking for it ~8...
