This whole incident was so bizarre. It sound like the plot of a bad movie where you'd come out of it saying, "Why would the bad guys who run the global multi-billion-dollar corporation have even been motivated to do that to some small fry writing articles out of their house. It's laughable." Not to mention the other people who had to agree to go along with it all. Yet here we are.
