I think something on this site might be attempting to spread malware. My Firefox is already fully up to date, but upon opening this link I was redirected to an "official" looking page claiming that "You are using an older version of Firefox", with an "Update Firefox" button that when hovering over it appeared to link to a zip file hosted on the skyelyfe domain.

p.s. Googling the exact wording on the redirect page brings up this reference on Virustotal from 26 days ago describing the same situation occurring on another site:

Yeah, that kind of thing can often happen with an ad containing malware coming through a bad ad network. I've removed the topic, thanks.

First time I have ever witnessed such a thing happening myself, but it immediately set off all sorts of alarm bells in my head. Shame about it though, since the article itself was actually pretty...

After taking the screen grab I immediately closed the tab (and cancelled the automatic download popup), so unfortunately can't get any more details about it. After that I did try visiting the site several more times again though, and even quickly inspected all the js on the site, but couldn't find any obvious culprit or reproduce the event either. However, if @Deimos is correct in assuming this happened due to a particular malware laden ad, that would likely explain why the result can't be consistently reproduced.
