As of iOS/iPadOS 13.4+ you can now set individual time limits for particular websites through the Settings > Screen Time menu though.

p.s. I actually did something similar for myself using a site blocking browser extension a few years ago when I was trying to cut down on my social media use. It worked okay, but was pretty wonky and also unfortunately didn't work on mobile (which is where I do the majority of my browsing these days). So I would love to see something like this implemented natively on Tildes too. And also kudos to Hacker News for adding that feature. I genuinely wouldn't have expected something like this from them.
I feel like there are browser extensions for this already instead of adding tracking methods to Tildes.
There are. The advantage of a built-in feature is that it would work on any browser and mobile device.
Every desktop and modern mobile browsers support extensions.

And even on Android the amount of extensions is very limited and they're not as customizable.
Do you use one? Can you suggest it?
