I figured that since Tildes has TOTP-compatible 2-factor authentication, I'd make sure it has its own icon to visually distinguish it :)
It might sound silly, but this is actually a really great way to “legitimize” Tildes. I know a whole lot of people hear “Reddit alternative” or “Reddit-like site” and they just assume the worst....

I’m not using Android at the moment, but for anyone who is, Hermit also has built in Tildes support. It’s great for anyone wants a more app like experience. Nice Home Screen icon and support for subsections right out of the box.
First time I heard of Hermit, thanks for sharing! EDIT: I added the following config to my setup Behavior Frameless ON Bookmarks Title: 🏠 Homepage URL: https://tildes.net Title: 🔔 Notifications...
I can just swipe left-to-right and jump back to the homepage, notifications, etc, and I can just add new bookmarks pointing to subs and tags I like and by using the Web Monitor query, it will check the unread notification page and return the amount of times it sees the h2.heading-notification CSS elements so you know you've got xx replies waiting. That's pretty neat.
I've started converting some apps to their web-based version using Hermit now, that's pretty cool.
