Feature request/discussion: Tag everyone that replied to a post

Hi,

It would be nice for the OP to be able to tag everyone that answered a post to give some solution to some problem that didn't had a solution (something like a post "my computer does not turn on, what can i do?" and no one finds the solution, then the OP finds the solution and tags every one that replied to let them know what the solution was [this is a super dumb example, but you got the point :) ]).

Problem is that this may be abused, maybe limiting use of one/two calls for everyone on one post?

EDIT: added "on one post"

This is similar to /r/changemyview's delta system. They use bots to set a delta ( Δ ) that the OP can hand out when someone contributes to successfully changing their mind on a topic. The mechanism for assigning an answer to a question is mechanically the same.

I'd love to see this on Tildes. It'll get a lot of use in serious discussion groups and anywhere else that a structured question and answer format is relevant to the group's topic.

Support, maybe to address the potential abuse it could be opt-in, so if you care whether the issue was resolved you can join the tag, but otherwise not

I think something like this would be better left up to the individual. I could see something like subscribing to a chain of comments being useful. So, if a user were to come in and say that Windows can write files to Linux drives, and I correct them, I won't be getting a lot of alerts from a topic that I am no longer interested in just because I wanted to provide a bit of useful information.

As an example, I spot a parent comment that I would like to see more user input on so I subscribe to that comment/post and all child comments would alert me or end up in my inbox as well. So, if someone asks if Windows can write files to a Linux drive, and I don't know the answer to that, I can subscribe and get an alert when someone has an answer.
