Currently, if I wanted to see every topic on Tildes tagged with
history, I could visit this URL:
If I wanted to narrow that search to a specific group, such as ~humanities, I could visit this URL:
However, I cannot do the same thing for a specific user. For instance, if I wanted to see all the topics tagged with
history and submitted by @cfabbro, there currently is no way to do that (as far as I know).
So two suggestions:
- First, enable URLs like this:
to work properly.
- Second, when I am viewing a user's profile page,
allow me to click a tag on one of the topics that user has posted, and have that action automatically send me to a URL that searches only for topics posted by that user, with the tag that I clicked.
(This is how clicking a tag while inside of a group currently works. If I navigate to the ~humanities group, and click the
historytag on a topic there, it will automatically have me searching only for topics tagged
historyand in the ~humanities group.)
It would also be nice if, in addition to being able to search for topics submitted by a user via tags, we could also do the same thing, but via groups or domains instead.
Thankfully though, @skybrian already has that idea covered in this issue on GitLab:
