Apparently uBlock Origin is blocking the request because it has _show_ads_ in the url. So, uh... I guess we can't have the phrase "show ads" in a title or anyone with uBlock Origin won't be able to reply to any comments in that thread (or perform any action that needs to do a network request). That's a fun one.

Guess I'll re-word that title to get around that for now, but that's kind of ridiculous.

Edit: had to disable uBlock to edit the title, since it was preventing that too.

Still borked for me. WTF? :( Although TBH, this is a good reminder to whitelist Tildes.net, since there will never be ads to worry about here anyways.

If you have a uBlock Origin icon in your toolbar, you should be able to click that and then a button at the bottom of the popup window (that looks kind of like a little window with a list in it)...

If you have that open and then try clicking Reply, it should show an entry saying why it was blocked.

Ah, NM... I was still going to the original URL even though the title had been changed. So it was still _show_ads_ that was preventing me from replying.

If it becomes a regularly occurring problem then adding an issue to have Tildes automatically rename URLs/titles with that particular string might be warranted, but I honestly don't think that will really be necessary.

Hilariously, AdGuard for Safari (one of those new-fangled content blockers) prevents that page you've got in your post from even loading at all. Oh, the joys of modern ad blocking.

Double checked, but it was actually the same thread you were having your issue on.

I was able to post a comment just fine, but I'm on Android Chrome, if we want to do some detective work.
