I don't know much about hybrids, but do we know if it's a plug-in hybrid or not? Just curious.
Anyway, on one hand, I only have two more payments on my 2021 Civic! Maybe I trade-in/sell this car for a Prelude. Though on the other...do I really want more car payments? As a single guy, with no kids, wouldn't mind a fun sporty car to drive around. We'll see.
They say it's the same system as the CRV (and some others) but it looks like Honda does not sell a plug in hybrid version of the CRV in North America. So reading between the lines a bit... regular...

I wouldn't say it'll be a regular hybrid with absolute certainty though.

It makes me so sad to see that we're still introducing new vehicles to the market with internal combustion engines, even in a hybrid format.
That all aside, I'm glad to see the marque return and I hope it does well. I wish I could morally justify buying one myself, but I cannot.
As a non car fan, usually the only thing I ask about someone's new car is "what colour is it". There have only been two models of cars that I can instinctively catch out of the corner of my eye...

I hope other Prelude fans like this new concept 6th gen better than I do. Maybe it has more continuity than I can appreciate, eg designers, teams, engine, etc.
I love it and I can't wait to drive one 10 years from now.
My thought as well. My first and favorite car was a used '91 Prelude with 4WS. It was awesome.
