It is really good news to me that Amazon is still plowing on ahead with their Dark Tower show following the abysmal Idris Elba / Matthew McConaughey movie. The Dark Tower universe and lore is so well done and I would love to see the series brought to life.
I think it is a great choice to start with the early days of Roland the Gunsliger back when Gilead was still around, but falling apart. Wizard and Glass is by far my favorite book in the Dark Tower series and would be a phenomenal start to a show after his training.
