I have said for the longest time that if it were possible I would have a picture frame always playing the first 9 season of the Simpsons, Miyazaki movies, and timelapse dashcam footage I would have three of them.
That actually sounds like a fun project to do. It might require some... less than legal ways of acquiring the copyrighted material, but it should be doable.

To be fair though, the content is not too expensive, you could buy the cds and burn them. I think burning is legal as long as you are not distributing them.
