    I remember when I first saw this ad as a teenager. I thought something was wrong with the network. Or my brain. Small brands, too. Whenever I end up in the unfortunate situation where I'm browsing...

    It’s why big brands will never be able to integrate with these subversive cultures and can only hope to appropriate them.

    Small brands, too. Whenever I end up in the unfortunate situation where I'm browsing Reddit without an ad-blocker, I always see smaller companies trying to lure potential buyers in with some meme-format ad and they always fail spectacularly.

    This makes me miss infomercials. Nowadays, they must not make enough money because it seems like nighttime TV is just a bunch of re-runs. I remember one time I saw an infomercial designed specifically for people who wanted to cheat on their spouses. This was pre-Ashley Madison and it blew my mind. The nerve! I only saw that infomercial once but that was enough for it to keep a little spot in my memory.

      I can't even remember the last time I watched broadcast/cable TV, so I'd have no idea what they show during off-hours. People like me are killing infomercials and low effort reality TV. Nobody...
