On the Prime Train as well, saw the first episode of Good Omens. I had to go to sleep, but I liked the first episode, and my brother watched the rest of them, and I think that's a good thing since he always complains about too many shows to keep up with.

No, always wanted to since I was a fan of Gaiman and Discworld was always something I was curious about but one hell of a time commitment, so I'm fresh. I heard chatter that it was a for the fans adaption, God's narration was a little too talkative for their liking and the show suffered whenever the main pair wasn't on screen. This is all true, but the mains are on screen a lot and it's only six episodes, so I don't mind following it until it's done.

Brother said Good Omens kinda dragged now that he's finished, and the witch plot could be cut entirely but the third episode goes into more of Azriphale and Crowley's relationship for all of Earth's history if that's what you're there for. I suppose it's less a commitment than the book.

Yooo you guys need to watch Fleabag. I got the recommendation off of Adam Savage (I cant remember the exact name or spelling), the guy from mythbusters, it is flipping amazing!

I have heard a lot of good things about the show and have had it recommended a lot of times. It's going on my list for sure.

I recommend you go in blind for the best experience, it is a British comedy with romance and mental health big parts of the focus.

It does messy human relationships brilliantly. It does fucked up people amazingly well. I also recommend going in blind, but Fleabag is one of my favourite comedies ever.

I mentioned recently I started Gravity Falls. It's great! Chernobyl is likely next on my list. Anyone who's seen it can talk about it a bit (spoilerfree)?

It all feels very realistic, but I have no idea how close to reality it really is. After I've finished watching it I'm planning to read up on the incident to see which parts of the show were real and which parts were made up for drama.

    Not much.

Bad Omens has been mentioned here. I watched the first episode and really really enjoyed it. People above went into a lot more detail about the show. For me personally, as someone who didn't watch Dr. Who this is my first exposure to David Tennant in a major role and I have been pretty impressed with his character. I think the plot is very interesting and funny, I enjoy a lot of the visuals, I think the narration adds a lot to the show for me personally. I don't know that I think it is a great show that revolutionizes TV or makes important statements about society (maybe it does! I'm only one episode in!) , but it is a show I like watching so I am going to continue doing so.

Brooklynn 99: I stopped watching halfway through the latest season. Partially because I prefer to binge watch shows, partially because I got a medical marijunna card and started smoking a lot, and B99 is one of my favorite shows so I wanted to be sober when watching the episodes the first time, and partially because I started a new job and I have been really struggling to find time to do things I enjoy that require me paying attention. Those are resolved now though so I'm going to try to catch up. As to why I like it: Every single one of the main characters is hilarious, I think the cast has insane chemistry and it really shows, I love Andy Samberg (and Melissa Fumero, and Stephanie Beatriz, fuck it I love all of them as actors and as characters). They have a lot of interesting and unique episode ideas while simultaneously not being afraid to shy away from important issues like their episodes on (TOPIC SPOILERS BUT NO EVENT SPOILERS) coming out of the closet to your coworkers and family, racial profiling, being a cop during active shooter situations, political corruption, and systemic racism. The last thing I like is that they do an incredible job of getting hilarious guest stars and writing perfect characters for them.

Santa Clarita Diet: Third season just came out. This is probably top 3 favorite shows of mine. I'm devastated that Netflix cancelled it. It is a funny and underused take of zombies. Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant are great in it. In fact, Timothy Olyphant's character makes me die of laughter nearly every line. He would be the highlight of the show for me if it wasn't for Skyler Gisondo. Skyler Gisondo played young Shawn Spencer in psych, he is in the new movie Booksmart, he was in the TV reboot of Wet Hot American Summer. I don't know what it is about him but I love this guy. I don't think he's like the best actor of our generation or anything, but there is something about him that I love. Seeing his name in the character list is enough to make me watch something by itself. Its a really funny show, warning it is really gory, but it is so so so so good. everyone should watch it.

I've been continuing to binge Chicago Med which is fun but ridiculous in that almost every episode a doctor commits an act that would end their career if they did it in real life.

Task Master is still on so I'm watching and enjoying that. There's a bit of controversy about one contestant this year and his hyper-competitive, perhaps aggressive, nature. He's being a bit of a bell-end, but not enough to make me not enjoy the programme.

999 What's Your Emergency and Ambulance have started new series. These are documentaries that follow police and ambo staff in their day to day work. They're pretty good.

There was a significant episode of BBC documentary programme Panorama about a place called Worlton Hall, which looks after people with needs described as complex, learning disability, or autism, or both. The care provided was horribly abusive, causing huge amounts of harm to very vulnerable people. As a result of the programme the hospital has closed; staff have been arrested and face criminal prosecution; the regulator has launched an investigation into why they didn't spot it. It's a distressing watch.

And I'm watching The Virtues -- this is incredible and really hard to watch. I strongly recommend it.
