I wholeheartedly agree. I think the only mainstream services that can compete with Disney’s massive library are: Amazon, since they bundle streaming video with 500 other services under Prime. HBO...

I think the only mainstream services that can compete with Disney’s massive library are:
Amazon, since they bundle streaming video with 500 other services under Prime.
HBO Max, since they have a track record of proven hits and a decent back catalog of older HBO shows.
Apple TV+, but only if they can get one or two massive hits in the first year or two that are enough to get people to sign up. This one is the lowest probability of success, I think.
I’ll bet that niche services like Criterion and Shudder will be fine though.
