It should have been one and done, or an anthology.

I used "It should have ran for only one season" as shorthand for "It's telling the same story and making similar mistakes and overcorrections season after season when the first season was pretty self contained and tells you everything you need to know about the world, so it no longer appeals to me as a viewer, but you can enjoy it if you want to, I just don't anymore." I use this shorthand often, and I apologise for the confusion.

It was becoming ridiculous, unbelievable. Yes it's a fictional story, but there is a limit to how realism and absurdity can need to be balanced. And it also felt forced after what was a solid finale in season 2. I rarely stop watching a season of any show partway through, I usually let it finish, but I didn't care about anyone anymore by episode 4, especially the Chief (I found his character the most inconsistent series-wise)..
Here's the press release, which includes that Netflix has signed the show's creators/runners to "a multi-year film and series overall deal".
Please be wrapping after Stranger Things 5 and starting something new...
5? I'd have been satisfied with them ending at 3!

Please stop
And take back Season 3.
I liked it! Better than season 2. What's the problem you have with it?
